FITUR, MADRID 2010
The purpose of Turismo de Portugal was to reveal to the visitors the image of an unknown Portugal – creative, open to new trends, capable of novelty and innovation which values and acknowledges fashion and design as instruments in the creation and experience of culture.
“Portugal Está de Moda” (Portugal is in vogue) was the theme behind the national participation at FITUR 2010. The Turismo de Portugal stand hosted the works of 11 fashion designers, presented in several fashion shows, and of 30 national designers, presented in throughout the fair itself, together with the gastronomical shows led by chefs José Avillez and Maria Fernandes Thomaz.
In addition, 32 companies of the tourism sector that follow the seven Tourism Promotion Regional Agencies were present.
